Our
client, a dynamic privately held $500 million corporation
and a recognized leader in the development, manufacture, and
marketing of custom shock, vibration, noise and motion control
products, has immediate openings for a test engineer. Leadership
and/or management experience is preferred.
The
incumbent will work on the Rotary Wing new products introduction
team, composed of design, manufacturing, quality, tool, M
& P & test engineers, and analytical personnel as well as
designers/technicians responsible as a team to carry a new
product from cradle to grave in a very short period of time.Our
client's customers are worldwide.
Some
of the qualifications desired are:
- Demonstrated
capability to conceptualize and design custom, multi axis
endurance test machines (generally using servo hydraulics).
- Excellent
inter personal skills.
- Ability
to work in a team environment
- Good
technical writing skills
- Willingness
to learn new skills
Salary
is a function of the skills/capabilities
Possible
sources include the helicopter (i.e., Bell, Boeing, Kaman,
Sikorsky) and fixed wing aircraft companies, as well as some
key suppliers to these companies. Possibly some automotive
companies or their critical suppliers will be considered.
