PA-Engineering Project Manager
Our
client, the world leader in e-commerce with over $3.7 billion
in sales, has an excellent opportunity for a talented individual
to become an Engineering Project Manager in our Fulfillment
Administration Department at our Lancaster, PA location.
This
individual will utilize engineering principles with a main
emphasis on operational process improvement through work measurement
and process documentation efforts (methods & standards). This
individual will lead continuous improvement projects to solve
business process constraints and reduce costs in the assigned
distribution center.
Will
establish workstation and departmental procedures and conduct
work measurement activities to establish labor standards.
Will have the authority to complete analysis and determine
labor standards. Will submit standards for review and approval
while working independently with operations leadership to
gain support for preliminary standards and processes.
POSITION
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- 4
year Engineering Degree (IE or IET) or equivalent experience
- 1-5
years in Distribution or manufacturing environment
- Strong
problem solving and process analysis skills
- Time
and Motion study certification preferred
- Strong
PC skills with spreadsheets, databases, project software,
and simulation
- Excellent
oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
